Eight-year-old Witness is a courageous little girl with a dream to become a doctor—a healer, a helper, a comforter to those who are hurting.

Witness lives with her single mother, who does all to care for her three children, though her work barely provides for daily survival. With no guarantee of tomorrow, only faith and determination get her through. Yet she continues to fight so her children can have a chance at a better life.
Witness is in Primary One and excels in maths and reading. She loves to dance, sing, and pretend to help patients. Witness wants to stay in school without fear of being chased home for fees. She wants to eat to grow healthy, and to continue building the future she dreams of.

At only six, Rinah is a survivor. She lives with her grandmother – an elderly woman with a heart bigger than her strength – who is raising six orphans, including Rinah. Their home is filled with love, but life is a daily financial struggle. In the middle of this hardship, Rinah’s laughter brings light to her grandmother’s tired evenings.
