WHO WE ARE
Jesus and Me Children’s Ministries (JMCM) is a Christian Non-Government Organisation (NGO) dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. It is committed to working with girls and boys, families, and their communities in Uganda to overcome poverty and injustice.
As a Christian organisation, we heed the call to lead in facilitating empowerment of communities, working with partners, the government and other actors to contribute to children being protected, cared for and participating. This includes raising awareness on harmful or hazardous employment of child, sale of alcohol and narcotics to child, prohibition of child sexual exploitation, video halls, gaming halls, and bars.
We aspire to a Uganda in which girls and boys are protected, cared for, participating and realize their full potential, in their families and communities.
We seek as JMCM a Uganda where volunteers/staff engages effectively and efficiently with the highest level of accountability, commitment and passion for the wellbeing of children, as well as leaders holding staff accountable.

A Thank You Message from David Knowlton, JMCM chairperson
It has been a profound honor to serve with Jesus and Me Children’s Ministries. Since its inception in 1998 and official registration as an NGO in 2000, I have witnessed the organization’s remarkable growth and transformation. As the vision bearer and team leader, I have had the privilege of guiding the ministry through both challenges and times of expansion, always relying on God’s strength and the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
Looking to the future, I am filled with hope for the orphans, vulnerable children, and refugees we serve. Anchored in faith in Jesus Christ, a steadfast commitment to prayer, and a relentless dedication to our mission, I am confident in the lasting impact of this ministry. Our clear vision, mission, goals, and objectives continue to provide a solid foundation for a well-structured and transformative organization.
I am profoundly grateful to all who contribute to the success of JMCM—whether through prayer, financial support, or any form of involvement. Your support, no matter the capacity, is vital to the ongoing journey and impact of this ministry.
