Matovu Ronnie serves as the Treasurer-Finance Secretary for JMCM, playing a vital role in the financial management and growth of the ministry. His work ensures the continued success of the organization and its ability to reach and impact over 2,500 young people—children who were raised by the ministry and now embody the belief that “good products reproduce themselves.” Ronnie promotes hygiene and sanitation practices in communities and schools, conducting sensitization sessions on handwashing, personal hygiene, and proper waste disposal. He also educates communities on disease prevention and has been actively involved in various awareness campaigns. Working closely with community leaders, Ronnie ensures that hygiene education is both accessible and culturally sensitive, tailoring his approach to local needs and practices. His daily responsibilities include conducting WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) needs assessments, mobilizing community leaders, and providing training on latrine and water point construction. Through these efforts, Ronnie has witnessed firsthand the positive changes that can be made in under-resourced communities.
